A donation in memory is a very special way to support our work and celebrate the life of a loved one. Thank you for thinking of Chance for Childhood as a way to remember and pay tribute to someone special.
There are lots of ways to pay tribute to a loved one by supporting our work with marginalised children and young people in Africa. However you decide to remember them, we hope you’ll feel comforted knowing you’re helping to bring light into children’s lives.
1. Donating in memory of a loved one
A donation in memory of a loved one could change a child’s life forever and give brighter childhoods to children. This could be a single or regular gift, or perhaps a donation on a day special to you or your loved one. If making a single donate, you have the option to tell us the name of the loved one you are donating in memory of.
You can also donate by calling our Supporter Care team on 01483 230 250.
If you would prefer to give by cheque then please post the cheque, along with your own name, address and details of the person you are remembering to Chance for Childhood, Westmead House, Westmead, Farnborough GU14 7LP. Please make all cheques payable to ‘Chance for Childhood’.
2. Create your own online Tribute
Much Loved enables you to create your own special memorial website in tribute to your loved one, where you can share memories, thoughts and stories with family and friends as well as light candles, add music, photos and videos. It’s simple, quick and free to set up.
You can collect fundraising donations for a special charity or project in the name of your loved one, organise events, celebrate anniversaries – and much more. You just need to select ‘Chance for Childhood’ when you set up your Tribute Fund, and we will receive the donations directly.
3. For funeral directors – Organising a funeral collection
A Tribute Fund page can be a lovely and simple way to collect funeral donations. As a Funeral Director, you can easily and quickly create a bespoke Fund page on www.memorygiving.com. It is free to set up, you just need to select ‘Chance for Childhood’ and we will get the donations directly.
